How do I find an EPC assessor near me?
Enter your postcode or town on EPCguys. You will see independent assessors covering your postcode district. Shortlist up to ten and submit one enquiry.
What areas do you cover?
All postcode districts in our location database are searchable. Results show assessors who publish coverage for your district — featured cities like London, Manchester and Birmingham are examples, not an exclusive list.
How does the enquiry process work?
Search your area, shortlist assessors, complete a guided property questionnaire, verify your email, review recipients, and submit once. Businesses may respond with quotes.
Is EPCguys nationwide?
You can search any postcode district we support. Supply depends on independent assessors publishing coverage — we do not claim assessors in every district until listings exist.
What is an EPC?
An Energy Performance Certificate rates property energy efficiency from A to G. It is required for most sales and rentals in England and Wales and lasts ten years.
Can estate agents use EPCguys?
Yes. Agents search on behalf of vendors and landlords, shortlist assessors, and submit enquiries using the same flow.
How long does an EPC take?
Site visits typically take 45–90 minutes depending on property size. Scheduling depends on the assessor you choose.
Can I cancel an enquiry?
Yes. Manage your enquiry from the link in your confirmation email or account area where available.
Do you offer commercial EPCs?
Pilot focus is domestic EPCs. Commercial services depend on assessor offerings shown in search results.

Does EPCguys set the price of an EPC?
No. Each assessor sets their own pricing. Profiles may show an indicative price basis — compare quotes when businesses respond. We never display a sample £60 rate.
Is my contact information shared with everyone?
Only the businesses you shortlist receive your enquiry. We do not broadcast contact details to all assessors in a region.
Are reviews on profiles real?
We display approved customer reviews only. We do not publish fabricated testimonials or sample names.
Who operates EPCguys?
EPCguys is operated by Digedtal as an independent marketplace. We are not a government body or accreditation scheme.

How do assessors join?
Assessors register via Join as an Assessor, verify credentials, define coverage, and publish a free profile. Optional listing upgrades add profile and visibility tools; receiving an enquiry is not paywalled.
What credentials do assessors need?
Assessors must hold appropriate accreditation for domestic EPCs. Approved credentials appear as badges on profiles after review.
